The definition of true religion is found in James 1:27  "Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from The World."

Heb 12:13  and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.

Heb 12:14  Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the 'Lord':

Heb 12:15  looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of YHWH (God); lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;

Heb 12:16  lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright.

Heb 12:17   For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears."

If you cannot protect the women and children in your own congregations perhaps you may need to screen individuals who have been noted with their unruly behavior and unwillingness to repent and obey God's word. Where does it say that we are to let in all who do not want to be disciples? What happened to repentance? Do not allow them in your church to harm the other "sheeples".

1Co 5:1   It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named[fn] among the Gentiles-that a man has his father's wife!

1Co 5:2   And you are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he who has done this deed might be taken away from among you.

1Co 5:3   For I indeed, as absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged (as though I were present) him who has so done this deed.

1Co 5:4   In the name of our Yahuwsha (Lord Jesus Christ), when you are gathered together, along with my spirit, with the power of our Yahuwsha(Lord Jesus Christ),

1Co 5:5   deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Yahuwsha(Lord Jesus).[fn]

1Co 5:6   Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?

1Co 5:7   Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.[fn]

1Co 5:8   Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

1Co 5:9   I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people.

1Co 5:10   Yet I certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world.

1Co 5:11   But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner-not even to eat with such a person.

1Co 5:12   For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside?

1Co 5:13   But those who are outside YHWH(God) judges. Therefore "put away from yourselves the evil person."

Mal 3:5   "And I will come near you for judgment; I will be a swift witness against sorcerers, against adulterers, against perjurers, against those who exploit wage earners and widows and orphans, and against those who turn away an alien-Because they do not fear Me," says the YHWH ('LORD') of hosts."

Recompense where needed as we all will be accountable to our Creator and His word is truth. If we do not interpret His word in the way that He means for us to teach others and follow it ourselves, then we too are sinning and adding to the problems.

"Falling short of the Glory of YHWH(God)" is sin. "Sin has wages" and "everyone must give an account to our Creator of what we have done on this earth". "Sin's wages bring death" and "the gift of eternal life is offered to those who Repent from their evil ways".

If we do not repent, and we continue in sin, "there is therefore no more sacrifices for sin and we must pay "

as continuing in sin is not living in the liberty of grace of having the robes fully clothing us in right understanding of His word and ways. Sin must be paid for. but if we do not obey the truth and choose to be obedient in Him then we shall be required to pay, down to the very last penny.

When referring to those who keep the oracles /word of YHWH (God), Paul the apostle understood that those who did not know (Gentiles) nor were taught the Law of YHWH (God) yet kept it in their actions by faith were shown to have YHWH's (God's) understanding inside of their heart versus those who were outwardly circumcised in the flesh (Jews) and knew the law of YHWH (God), celebrated YHWH's (God's )feasts days but did not always do/obey with action the law of YHWH (God). Both parties could sin (willfull or unknowingly) reaping judgement and both parties could choose to obey for life.

Rom 3:1  What advantage then has the Jew, or what is the profit of circumcision?

Rom 3:2  Much in every way! Chiefly because to them were committed the oracles of YaHuWaH (God).

Rom 3:3  For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of YHWH (God) without effect?

Rom 3:4  Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. As it is written:

"That You may be justified in Your words,  And may overcome when You are judged."

Rom 3:5  But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of YHWH (God), what shall we say? Is YHWH (God) unjust who inflicts wrath? (I speak as a man.)

Rom 3:6  Certainly not! For then how will YHWH (God) judge the world?

Rom 3:7  For if the truth of YHWH (God) has increased through my lie to His glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner?

Rom 3:8  And why not say, "Let us do evil that good may come"?-as we are slanderously reported and as some affirm that we say. Their condemnation is just.

Rom 3:9  What then? Are we better than they? Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin.

Rom 3:10  As it is written:  "There is none righteous, no, not one;

(If our teachers and leaders are twisted up in their understanding, and we have been sitting in their congregations, then we have much unlearning to do and turning back to the ancient paths/ways.)

Rom 3:11  There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after YaHuWaH (God).

Rom 3:12  They have all turned aside;  They have together become unprofitable;

There is none who does good, no, not one."

Rom 3:13  "Their throat is an open tomb;

With their tongues they have practiced deceit";

"The poison of asps is under their lips";

Rom 3:14  "Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness."

Rom 3:15  "Their feet are swift to shed blood;

Rom 3:16  Destruction and misery are in their ways;

Rom 3:17  And the way of peace they have not known."

Rom 3:18  "There is no fear of YHWH(God) before their eyes."

Rom 3:19  Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, (this does not mean that those who are not aware of the law are excused) that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before YaHuWaH(God).

Rom 3:20  Therefore by the deeds of the law ( the observing or acknowledging that they exist) no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Rom 3:21  But now the righteousness (right understanding) of, (God) YaHuWaH apart from the law is revealed, (by understanding why to do the action) being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, (you will know the truth and it will make you free)

Rom 3:22  even the righteousness of YaHuWaH (God), through faith in YaHuWsHa (aka Jesus) Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference;

Rom 3:23  for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of YaHuWaH(God),

Rom 3:24  being justified freely by His grace (understanding/revelation to obedience) through the redemption(showing of the way to follow until death, payment for sacrifice) that is in Yahuwsha, Christ (Jesus),

Rom 3:25  whom YaHuWaH(God) set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance YHWH(God) had passed over the sins that were previously committed,

Rom 3:26  to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in YaHuWsHa(Jesus) .

Rom 3:27  Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith. (By our willing example proven by our walk of faith.)

Rom 3:28  Therefore we conclude that a man is JUSTIFIED BY FAITH (the substance of things hoped for/maturity/growth, the evidence of things unseen) apart from the deeds of the law. (His actions show his faith that he is obedient.)

Rom 3:29  Or is He the Elohim(God) of the Jews only? Is He not also the Elohim(God) of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also,

Rom 3:30  since there is one Elohim (God) who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.

Rom 3:31   Do we then MAKE VOID THE LAW THROUGH FAITH? Certainly not!

On the contrary, we ESTABLISH THE LAW.

Faith-  מוּנָה ʼĕmûwnâh, em-oo-naw'; or (shortened) אֱמֻנָה ʼĕmunâh; feminine of H529;

  • Strong's Definitions
  1. firmness, fidelity, steadfastness, steadiness

  • literally firmness; figuratively security; morally fidelity:-faith(-ful, -ly, -ness, (man)), set office, stability, steady, truly, truth, verily.
  • esenius' Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon

The opposite of walking by faith is unfaithful, insecure, untruthful, waivering, too soft, infidelity, immoral, unsteady. All we have sinned and gone astray, each one of us in our own way. It is time to repent and go back to the ancient paths of faithfulness , desiring to learn and grow up into maturity not lacking in perfection.
